I can be very pretty, but I don't try because I simply don't care enough. I'm too busy getting a degree to care. Too much stress if I include everything like my looks or a sparkling house. I had to let some things go just to keep my sanity. I look plain with no make-up and my hair tied back.

by gaiagirl inthat is, do you view yourself as a member of a "fallen" race of humans, and/or separated from god/perfection/divinity, and/or subject to eventual death because of something an ancestor allegedly did?.
is this even a healthy way to view oneself?.
personally, if there were any truth to the genesis account, then i'd claim descent from the "other" people living outside eden.

by *Incubus inwhen i was 14 i decided to dissassociate myself.the elder flipped and met with me and my parents.i shared my feelings about the hypocrisy that i saw in the teachings and actions of the witnesses.i was assured that i simply needed to pray more and that i was too young to comprehend the incidents which had made such a negative impression on me.. .
then they went on to liken my feelings to a man who had a handful of diamonds but could only see the dust on them.. did you ever receive counsel that belittled the real issue?

i view myself through others which is a reality of zilch so it is bad karma for me to consider it!.
maybe its circumstantial of many life events but i'll bet exjws feel the power of the above dynamic as a negative force for humanitarian ectics and personal self worth!

I've learned to not worry about myself so much except for being a parent, student, family member and friend. I focus instead on having joy in life. Just loving life. Really living. I don't look in the mirror and frown. I smile at myself and check my teeth for spinach I'm so much happier not worrying about loving myself but improving myself through education. I'm just having fun living. That is more important to me.

Lingua or lengua, I forgot how to spell it. Beef tongue. This is my favorite form of beef:) They serve this in real Mexican restaurants. You won't find it in any Tex-Mex restaurant.

You only go once a week so you are viewed as weak and, therefor, as per Kingdom Ministry guidlines, are not to be addressed as one of the brothers. Sorry. They don't use the term "brother" for anyone who is associated but not baptized, either. It was in a KM talk a long time ago. They are supposed to address such ones as Mr. or Mrs. this or that.

I really hate the words, "theocratic" and "inculcate." People sound so fake when they use them when before, they didn't even know what these words meant. All of a sudden, these became so common just because they read it from Timothy.
